This meet is for all levels of powerlifters, novice to veteran. There will be only Open Weight Classes for this event.
All Lifters will be in the open divison.

DRUG TESTING: You must be drug free for at least 36 months prior to the date of this meet to be eligible. At least 10% of all lifters will be tested by urinalysis. Banned substances include but are not limited to anabolic steroids and growth hormones. The complete list of banned substances is available on the website of the World Anti- Doping Agency.
LIFITING ATTIRE: All equipment must conform to USA Powerlifting rules and must be on the USA Powerlifting approved list or fall within the technical specifications allowed by USA Powerlifting.
2024 USA Powerlifting MO River Open (MO-2024-04)
The USA Powerlifting MO River Open Meet is back!
This year, we are capping it at 180 lifters to give more chances for people to compete, as well more money to win!
DISCLAIMER: This meet is catered towards experienced lifters. Experienced meaning that they have at least a handful of meets that they have participated in. Since big cash awards will be given away, we want newer lifters to be aware that this meet will be held to high standards. This is in no way to steer new lifters away, but too make them aware that this meet will be similar to going to national level meets.

Days 1-2 will be for clubs and teams within the region and invited teams out of the region.
Scoring will be similar to college nationals, but top 5 placers
To be considered a club or a team, you must have 3 members or more. Ex: 4 women and 5 men on your respective teams
Placing will go to the top 5 medalists
December 1st we will open up liftingcast registration to the gen public who has not reached out to the meet director or venue host to fill remaining spots on the roster.
Day 3 of the Midwest Collegiate Regionals is for junior lifters and collegiate lifters not with a team.
A junior lifter is a lifter between the ages of 20-23 years of age.
A collegiate lifter is a full time undergraduate or postgraduate student (12 undergraduate/9 postgraduate). Also, they cannot be over the age of 25 years old (26 years and up is not considered a college lifter).
This day gives all independent junior and college lifters a chance to hit the QT’s for their respective national event.
Placing: Top 3 in respective division based on total will medal.
Best overall Male and Female junior and male lifter will win an award.
Deadline for this meet is Jan 4th
American Records can be set at this meet.
IF YOU ARE COMPETING WITH A CLUB ARE TEAM THAT HAS THREE OR MORE PEOPLE, YOU WILL NEED TO REGISTER FOR DAY 1-2 WHEN IT OPENS.
2023 USA Powerlifting Ozark Mountain Classic (MO-2023-07)
The second annual Ozark Mountain Classic will be hosted by GP Athletics and all lifters will be welcomed! Awards will be based off cluster weight classes which are listed below. Lifters will be capped and sessions will be created once the full roster has been submitted.

2023 USA Powerlifting Missouri Ladies of Iron MO-2023-04
2023 USA Powerlifting Missouri Ladies of Iron (MO-2023-04) May 6th at Kansas City Barbell registration opens up 1-20-2023. Female only powerlifting meet capped at 28 lifters. We are providing the following divisions Raw, Raw with wraps, and equipped. The cost for lifting is $115 per athlete which includes a t-shirt. If you want to compete in more than one division each additional division will be $35. Registration closes on April 10th, 2023.

The Missouri State Championship for 2023 comes back to Saint Louis! Also adding a primetime session for the top lifters male and female in the state!

Primetime qualifications:
The top 14 male and 14 female raw lifters based on dots score of 2022 will get an invite via email and/or social media
Lifters must be Missouri Residents for to qualify(if you have moved into the state, you must have your membership active for the state of Missouri before 2023 and proof of residency the day of the event)
Lifters that are chosen get to lift in our evening prime time session(1 platform and 2 flights)
Lifters who are picked can deny and lift in the prior sessions

Push/Pull (Raw, and equipped)
Bench Only (Raw, and equipped)

Medals will be giving to top 3 for each weight class and division

USA Powerlifting 2nd Annual KC Rookie/Novice Showcase
This is a meet to get anyone who has never competed or lacks experience and is looking to get more confidence at a meet. We are capping the meet at 56 athletes!
Our main objective is to grow the sport of powerlifting in the Kansas City area while offering a positive environment while also teaching/guiding new/newer athletes through this meet.
Rookies will be considered anyone with zero meet experience. Novice lifters will be anyone who has 3 or less meets under their belt. Anyone who is over the 3 meet mark will be placed in the Open Division and can attempt Qualifying Totals at this meet.
Awards will be given out to Rookies & Novice lifters grouped in three weight classes. Scoring will be through Dots & Age Points. Weight classes will be as followed:
Women Lightweight 44KG - 56KGMen Lightweight 52KG - 67.5KG
Women Middleweight 60KG - 82.5KGMen Middleweight 75KG - 100KG
Women Heavyweight 90KG - 100+ KGMen Heavyweight 110KG - 140+ KG

Kansas City Barbell is proud to present the USA Powerlifting 2022 Missouri Ladies of Iron.
This is an ALL FEMALE event, with a 30 lifter cap and we expect it to reach capacity very quickly
Individual Entry Fee: $105.00. Meet T-shirt included with entry fee. Entry Fee will be for the Open Division or a specific age group. If you want to compete in the Open and a specific age group, the second division will be an additional $25.00.
Weigh-ins will begin at 8:00 a.m., Lifting at 10:00 a.m.

Missouri State Championship and Open
The USA Powerlifting 2021 Missouri State Championships will be in Liberty, Missouri, hosted by William Jewell College.
About this event
We are back and ready to have our State Championship in the Kansas City area for 2021. This year we will be at William Jewell's Mabee Center. Plus, the best Master of Ceremony in the world of powerlifting - GENO BIANCHERI - has committed to flying in from New Jersey, so you know it is going to be a great event!
